The Ministry Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with NAWA PR to Raise the Quality of Childcare Centre Services

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, represented by the Community Development Agency (General Administration for Daily Child Care), has signed a memorandum of understanding with NAWA PR covering cooperation in developing the services provided to children and raising the capability of those working in this vital sector, in line with the Ministry's strategic direction. The Ministry was represented at the signing by His Excellency the Assistant Deputy Minister for Community Services, Mr. Tariq bin Ali Al-Ruba, and the company by its Chairman of the Board, Mr. Khalid bin Fahd Al-Omari, in the presence of the Director General of the General Administration for Daily Child Care, Ms. Nouf bint Dakhil Al-Jari.

The memorandum aims to strengthen joint cooperation across several areas serving the childcare sector. It includes in-person workshops in regions across the Kingdom, targeting the centres concerned, to explain the importance of the initiative and its positive impact on service quality and on the operational efficiency of the centres and their staff.

It also covers building international alliances and partnerships with specialized centres and institutions in order to transfer knowledge and exchange expertise, along with launching and running the Childcare Centres Award, presented annually to encourage innovation and raise service standards.

Through agreements of this kind, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development seeks to empower individuals, society and institutions, improve the labour market through the development of policies and legislation, and enable its employees to deliver a distinctive experience for beneficiaries — in line with its vision of an enabling, vibrant society, a distinguished work environment, and an attractive labour market.
